The space inside of an eye magnifies a small thing and
projects it to be larger than it is. Therefore, while the size of the world in
this universe is a dot upon a huge dome, mankind assumes it to be gigantic.
The fish of a river assumes
the river to be their world and remain happy within it, in the same way, the heart of mankind is entangled in this world. Mankind
does not want to exit this world as they believe there is no other world like
this. Worlds more exquisite than this world exist, wherein the speed of senses
is much faster, and they all lay expectant of the arrival of mankind. The
status of mankind is much higher than what it has reduced itself to. Thought is
a creation that leads mankind to progress and zenith, while ‘interference in
the thought process’ is what regresses them. What are progression and
regression then?
“Seest
thou not how God coineth a similitude: A goodly saying, as a goodly tree, its
root set firm, its branches reaching into heaven, giving its fruit at
every season by permission of its Lord? God coineth the similitudes for mankind
in order that they may reflect. And the similitude of a bad saying is as a
bad tree, uprooted from upon the earth, possessing no stability.” (Quran,
14:24-26)
Thought
is related to the subconscious world. Mankind remains ignorant of what a
thought is unless and until it expresses itself as an image. They are
acquainted with the image instead of the thought. When the shape and form
of the image form on the screen of one’s mind, the individual begins to interfere
with it and attempts to colour it as per their apprehensions, reservations,
delusions, and desires. Though it is complete, the image is not a reflection of
the original as it is adulterated with doubt, and hence we refer to it as
‘fiction’.
When
there is adulteration, the creation does not remain pure, that is, it is not in
its true state. The external elements, which in the language of research and
quest (science) we call ‘foreign bodies’, have been infused in it. As the
external elements are diverse from the object, they cannot enter it. The true
state always remains intact and it must remain so for continuity in the system,
failing which the system will be in disarray.
Observation:
When we place ice outside a refrigerator, foreign bodies enter it and the ice
melts into a liquid state. It is important to note that the foreign bodies did
not enter the true state of the ice. What we
think is ice, is in fact, a cover over the true state of the ice. The foreign
bodies affect the cover as it is also made out of foreign bodies. This example
holds good for the physical body and all other objects. If the foreign bodies
entered the true state, everything would cease to exist. This is why God
Almighty has created everything in fixed proportions and unique formulae so
that the external elements (foreign bodies) are unable to enter them.
One must understand that the external elements do not
enter the creation, instead, they accumulate around its outer surface in such a
way that they form a cover around it*. Those whose sight is limited to the
surface, observe the cover made of foreign bodies and think that it is the
reality; this is how fiction is birthed and reality is
hidden.

That which is not adulterated is
pure and is maintained in its true state. Their roots are firmly planted in the
ground, and remain steadfast on the foundation upon which they are created.
They do not accept the influence of external elements and turn their focus
toward a pure entity and sanctified environment for their growth and
development. When their contemplation takes off, it reaches the height of the
skies.
In
spirituality, the sky is linked to the subconscious; a creation that cannot be
comprehended within the limits of the consciousness of the earth. Earth is a place
where dimensions are manifested and there are boundaries everywhere; the
mountains have their own boundaries, the sea remains contained within its
shores, and even dry land has its boundaries. Every creature is encapsulated in
a cover. It is worthy to contemplate the fact that on earth, our sight stops at
every short distance that it covers, however, this is not true for the sky. The
sky (subconscious) subdues the dimensions and shows everything as one. The sky takes sight to a speed at which the
journey of various zones is covered all at once.

“God is the Light of
the heavens and the earth.” (Quran, 24:35)
Apparently,
heaven and earth are two different stations, however, the Noor (a stage
of Divine Light) in them is one. The sight which does not observe Noor, sees
the earth and sky as two different stations. The
stations are subdued in the sight of those who are blessed with the insight of Noor
and they see the Noor of God everywhere.

Look up
and observe the sky before you read this article any further. Life exists in
the sky; there are galactic systems such as the moon, sun, and stars. Every
star is a world on its own, and in these worlds, creatures and resources for
life exist. The planets in the sky are visible in such a way that the
distinctiveness of the inner and manifested sides of the sky is maintained,
that is, the dimensions are not
visible.
The
spiritual senses inform us that sight is a sense; it is independent and takes
on the responsibility of being a carrier. Like all other senses, the sense of
sight is on a constant journey. The reality is that an individual does not
see, rather, they follow the sense of sight according to the capacity of their
consciousness. When one sees a wall, their sight passes through the wall,
however, as their conscious stops at the dust, they think that there is a wall
before them. The sight has passed through the wall – it is the limited
conscious that has lost awareness of its sight. In this same way, when one
looks at the sky, they lose track of their pursuit of sight and do not know
where it went and therefore, consider the memory of the last impression as the
sky.
One’s
relationship with purity depends on how aligned they remain to their
subconscious, in their conscious states. As per the ordinance of God Almighty,
purity in thought bears fruits in every moment – and in every moment it brings forth new glories.

“And
the similitude of a bad saying is as a bad tree, uprooted from upon the earth,
possessing no stability.” (Quran, 14:26)
Impurity
is adulterated by doubt and does not remain constant in its true state. Mankind
nourishes it with the water of doubt. Doubt shows a single object as two or
more. As one fails to remain stable in one state, their roots begin to shake
and, in the end, get uprooted. For growth, flowering, and bearing fruits, it is
important that the roots remain fixed in one place, else, it seems like the
plant (individual) is growing, however, inside the earth, the states of affairs
exhibit that the plant is trembling. And when strong winds blow, the plant is
uprooted as it has let go of its place on earth.
One
observes that mankind has left its place on earth too, just like the impure
tree, there are impure matters, and impure thinking. Respected readers! What is
their place on earth?
The
true status of mankind is that of a Khalifa (Deputy). It is stated in
the Holy Quran,
“And
when thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to place a viceroy in the
earth, they said: Wilt thou place therein one who will do harm therein and will
shed blood, while we, we hymn Thy praise and sanctify Thee? He said: Surely I
know that which ye know not. And He taught Adam all the names.”
(Quran, 2:30-31)
God Almighty
made mankind His deputy on earth. They have been given the ability to
bring innovation to creations, however, due to doubt, mankind has let go of
their status and remain ignorant of their position as deputy. A crystal clear
example of this is being ignorant of the teachings of the Holy Quran. While
there is still doubt or impurity within the mind of mankind, they will remain
unstable. Stability is reserved only for those who remain aware of their status
as appointed deputies on earth.
May God protect you.
