FEB 2016-LIFE AND HUMAN

Life-a life-what is a life? Life is composition of senses- starvation, thirst, love and affection, hatred and despise, pledge and misery, watching and listening, apparent and hidden aspect of observation, speaking, perception and feeling, thoughts and illusions are laid on "vertical and horizontal axis".

The vertical and horizontal are stretched so close to each other, the space between them is not prominent.

For instance, a cloth or a canvas is embedded with similar architecture of vertical and horizontal axis. When a picture is drawn on the canvas, it represents itself. Reflecting iridescent colors, narrating a self, listening others and maintaining silence-but it speaks and listens. Read this paragraph three times.

Mercurial world-it is an outcome of appearance and diminishing of objects, an instance of action and reaction. It is hard to explain the temporal nature of world, neither a dictionary can add the narration, however it can be exemplified to elaborate the intricacies of subject matter.

Life is staged in steps, following a pre-defined equation, that is:

Water   +   Dust   =   Mud     ..     Human (Insaan)

"We have created man from an extract of clay. Then We made him a sperm-drop in a firm resting place. Then We turned the sperm-drop into a clot, then We turned the clot into a fetus-lump, then We turned the fetus-lump into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh; thereafter We developed it into another creature. So, glorious is Allah, the Best of the creators." (Quran, 23:12-14)

Salaala (extract) is primary seed. Mother's womb is the soil for seeding. Fertilization is the fusion of haploid gametes, egg and sperm, to form the diploid zygote. The place of fusion is called in divined books Qarar Makeen (stable place). The sperm binds through the corona radiata, a layer of follicle cells on the outside of the secondary oocyte.

Fertilization occurs when the nucleus of both a sperm and an egg fuse to form a diploid cell, known as zygote. The successful fusion of gametes forms a new organism.

The sperm must undergo capacitation in the female's reproductive tract over several hours, which increases its motility and destabilizes its mem- brane, preparing it for the acrosome reaction, the enzymatic penetration of the egg's tough membrane, the zona pellucida, which surrounds the oocyte, called as Alaqa. It is similar to leech, sucks blood from placenta.

The placenta is an organ that connects the developing fetus to the uterine wall to allow nutrient uptake, provides thermo-regulation to the fetus, waste elimination, and gas exchange via the mother's blood supply, fights against internal infection and produces hormones to support pregnancy.

In three to four weeks, Alaqa transformed into Mudgha, similar to chewed flesh, an imminent formation of backbone or spinal cord. During rest of period of fetus growth, bones are further extended, encapsulated with flesh and finally a beginning of drop turns out to be a newborn baby.

Human is produced out of a Nutfa that is sperm. How a sperm is produced?

Qarar Makeen (stable place), where body is nurtured inside mother's womb, like mother Earth. Mother Earth provides us resources to continue our life. Despite its ability to nurture, if womb does not appreciate a seed, there would be neither germination nor growth of seed into a tree.

Similarly, a defective seeding is futile for a fertilized soil. A seed surrenders itself to soil, soil turns into seed and reveals its potential in stages. Allah said,

"He is the One who made the earth a cradle for you, and made in it pathways for you to move, and sent down water from the heavens; and We brought forth with it pairs of different vegetations: Eat, and graze your cattle. Surely, in that there are signs for the people of understanding. From this (dust) We created you, and in this we shall put you back, and from this We shall raise you up once again." (Quran, 20:53-55)

Food at the dining table is a variant of dust. Edible food is converted into blood, followed by sperm and eventually all sperms unite with dust. One can understand the process of transformation that is what we eat, turns into dust.

When dust is transformed into plants, wheat, fruit and flowers, the base which is dust disappears (into Ghaib). After a certain period, what appears, is diminished and dust gains the dominance.

How does it happen?

The phenomenal world is the apparent aspect of soil and what is beyond our observation is hidden aspect. The growth of seed into plant is the apparent aspect of soil, meanwhile plant continues its link with the seed. Everything in Allah's system is stabilized on specific proportions. E.g., for a stable long tree, it is required for a tree to grow higher and higher, to have widely spread roots in soil. Because what has to appear, has to be a reflection of hidden perspective.

It is independent of spatial distances, link between the two aspects is never discontinued and focal point is the life line.

Readers! You read about soil, can you describe the nature of soil? It is the hidden aspect that is (Ghaib). The transformation in mother's womb is continuous. The stages of a child creation from decomposed water to a blooming innocent infant are nothing but appearance of a vivid and hidden reality.

The process of growth varies through two aspects disappear (Ghaib)appear (Hazir)-disappear (Ghaib). The process can be formulated into a tri-fold dynamics.

Disappear (Ghaib)-Appear (Hazir)-Disappear (Ghaib) It is mentioned in Quran Kareem,

"From this dust, We created you, and in this we shall put you back, and from this We shall raise you up once again." (Quran, 20:55)

It forms an entity-one unit. The apprehension of one unit is a moment in life. Childhood, adulthood, old age-the inhale, exhale process-a day vanished into another day-the sunset and sunrise are all impressions of this very tri-fold dynamics of disappear (Ghaib)-appear (Hazir)disappear (Ghaib).

What is life? Let's exemplify-

A drama writer composes a play, collecting all the good and bad attributes of a society. The behavior of an individual in the play characterizes him and reflects inclination. Whether a play or home-despite the difference in situation or presentation, story is usually similar.

History witnesses this very fact, neither a situation nor a role is different. A cogent observation leads us to conclude, behavior is life. Whether it is a story of drama or life, it is a behavior.

One may ask what behavior is. If it is a reaction to an action, then considering reaction an outcome of an action what would be action?

While resolving dilemma of behavior, student asked his teacher, 'How one can understand an action and how a reaction can be described?'

Teacher answered, 'Refuse to submit an action is a reaction. If you don't refuse, what remains is an action.'

The message underline is difficult to grasp, but indulging effort to understand makes it easy to understand. There was a tree of Cera on the bank of river. Once a heavy flood ripped all the trees at bank away, even hundreds of years old vanished. Cera tree also became one victim, but he was surprised to see Narsil Tree (a white tree of Gondor) was still intact, as nothing is changed around him.

Cera tree asked him, what is the secret of your stability? Narsil Tree answered, let me explain to you the secret that saves me from potential dangers. He said, I don't fight with others, neither get stubborn nor become ego-maniac before enemies. I don't make issues to any trivial matter. I show humiliation to any enemy who is after me.

Quran Kareem mentioned that,

"The ones who spend (for Allah's sake) in prosperity and adversity, and those who control anger and forgive people. And Allah loves those who are good in their deeds." (Quran, 3:134)

Readers, can you describe the gist of 'Message of the Day', presented here? If it is a sequel of narration, then identify vibrating words which created annoyance. But it is not the gist.

Without paying attention one cannot hear any cogent point uttered from the mind of a writer. What utters are vibrations. Light vibes are soothing as compared to the harsh ones.

How this message is reflected on you, light, heavy, most likely or unlikely-a compilation of various viewpoints!
