Corneal Ulcer

A boil with oozing puss in the outer region of eye is called corneal ulcer. To treat it takes one half-gram i.e. one of the two cotyledons of a gram and rub it on a smooth stone with a small quantity of water to obtain a paste like substance. Before rubbing the half-gram on the stone recite اَلَلّٰہُ نُوْرُ الْسَمَوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ once and blow upon the water, on the stone and the gram. Apply this paste with a lead applicator in the affected eye. This is to be done twice a day for few days. The stone for rubbing the gram should be like one of the pebbles found near brooks end rivers. It may be of any size. There is no binding upon its size.
