When
Hażrat Abdullah Bin Zubair established Prayer he used to recite a large number
of Sūrahs from the Holy Quran. When standing in Prayer it would look as if he
were a pillar. When he would prostrate he would stay in that position for so
long that the pigeons of the Holy Kaba would come and sit on his back.

Mehrāj means to enter the world of the unseen. When a believer attains Mehrāj through prayer, Angels appear in front of him. He travels through the Heavens, and through the blessings of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) he comes to know his Lord.
