لَآ
اِلٰہَ اِ لَّا اللّٰہُ وَحْدَہٗ لَا شَرِیْکَ لَہٗ لَہُ الْمُلْکُ وَ لَہُ
الْحَمْدُ یُحْحٖی وَ یُمِیْتُ وَ ھُوَ حَیٌّ لَّا یَمُوْتُ اَ بَدًا اَ بَدًا
ذُوالْجَلَالِ وَالْاِکْرَامِ بِیَدِہِ الْخَیْرُ وَ ھُوَ عَلیٰ کُلِّ شَیْءٍی
قَدِیْرٌ
‘There
is none worthy of worship except Allah, who is alone and has no partner. To Him
belongs the kingdom and for Him is all praise. He gives life and causes death.
In His hands is all good and he has power over everything’
KHWAJA SHAMSUDDIN AZEEMI
Mehrāj means to enter the world of the unseen. When a believer attains Mehrāj through prayer, Angels appear in front of him. He travels through the Heavens, and through the blessings of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) he comes to know his Lord.
