appears greenish or bluish in hue. Nishapuri turquoise is often available to
the general public at affordable prices. A turquoise gemstone, or one of its
color, is believed to sharpen vision. If a person prone to excessive anger
encounters someone wearing turquoise, their temperament is softened. The one
who wears a turquoise ring is said to be safeguarded from poverty and
destitution.

وَمَاذَرَالَکُم فِی
الْاَرْضِ مُخْتَلِفًا اَلْوَانُه اِنَّ فِیْ ذٰلِکَ لَآيةً لِقَومِ يَّذَّکَّرُوْن
"And whatever He has spread for you on the earth of varying colors—surely in that is a sign for a people who reflect."
