Amber
is actually not a stone but the gum of a tree. Its color is yellow. If the
straw is rubbed on the leather, the straw will stick to it. A woman who wears
this stone does not get pregnant. It is mostly used in prayer beads. Instead of
wearing it, it is better to keep its prayer bead or to wear a necklace of its
beads around the neck.

وَمَاذَرَالَکُم فِی
الْاَرْضِ مُخْتَلِفًا اَلْوَانُه اِنَّ فِیْ ذٰلِکَ لَآيةً لِقَومِ يَّذَّکَّرُوْن
"And whatever He has spread for you on the earth of varying colors—surely in that is a sign for a people who reflect."
Surah An-Nahl (16:13)
